(MITCHELL) - Two people were injured in a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Ind. 37 and Yockey Road Tuesday afternoon.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, 77-year-old Charles Lynn was crossing the northbound lane of Ind. 37 from the west side of Ind. 37 and did not see the 2003 Chevrolet Trailblaizer driven by 39-year-old Patricia Carrico of Mitchell. Carrico was approaching from the south.
Lynn drove his 2000 General Motors Sierra into the path of Carrico's Trailblazer. Carrico then struck a 2012 International semi-trailer driven by 38-year-old John Silvers of Orleans that was at the intersection of Ind. 37 and Yockey Road.
Lynn suffered minor bleeding to his face. Carrico complained of body pain and Silvers was not injured.
