Volunteers will be meet Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the U Street trailhead and will be taking railing to the bridges and attaching them. If you have tools like a cordless drill and charges, impact and power saws please bring them.
Work will continue on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Those not working on the railing can help with wacking weeds and pruning trees.
Lunch will be provided both days.
Volunteers are asked to wear closed toe shoes, safety glasses and gloves and to bring sunscreen and bug spray and perhaps a hat.
If you haven't seen the Milwaukee Trail safety video please take few minutes to watch it and download a liability waiver at www.indianatrails.com. Bring your completed waiver with you to save some time.
Can't build but want to help? You can donate money or bake munchies for the volunteers and most importantly tell your friends and neighbors about the project.
