(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman is facing drug charges after police received an anonymous tip about her dealing heroin.
Police arrested 31-year-old Carrie Everroad of Bedford on charges of possession of heroin, possession of heroin with the intent to deal and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley, officers found Everroad walking in the 2800 block of Washington Avenue at 4:15 p.m. Thursday after they were alerted that Everroad was in possession of drugs.
After stopping Everroad they asked if she had any drugs on her and that is when she handed them her backpack. Inside officers found about 6 grams of heroin, less than 30 grams of marijuana, smoking pipes, spoons and syringes.
