(CROTHERSVILLE) - Crothersville will spend nearly $786,000 to extend a road in the town’s industrial park, making it safer for increased truck traffic expected in the area.
The extension of Industrial Way comes on the heels of an announced $30 million expansion project at Aisin Chemical in Crothersville, an automobile-parts maker, and the addition of as many as 100 jobs to its workforce.
The town's three-member council recently awarded the project to the lowest bidder -- Sedam Contracting Co. LLC in Hanover -- for $578,992.
