(BLOOMFIELD) - Two people suffered minor injures Wednesday morning in a one-vehicle accident about ½ mile east of J.L. Wilson Road.
According to Greene County Sheriff's Department police report, 56-year-old Mark Dorman, of Bloomfield, was in the eastbound lane of East Kelly Branch Road when his passenger side tires left the road and caused his 2009 Kia Spectra to leave the roadway, travel into a ditch and strike a culvert head on.
Dorman suffered a head and hand laceration. His passenger, 47-year-old Sharon Lapray-Mitchell, also of Bloomfield, complained of chest pain. Both were taken to Greene County General Hospital by ambulance for treatment.
Two small dogs inside the vehicle were not injured.
Assisting at the scene: Greene County Ambulance, Richland Fire Department, and Bloomfield Fire Department.
