(BLOOMINGTON) - The Indiana State Police at the Bloomington Post is accepting applications for a Building Custodian position.
To qualify, applicants must be high school graduates or possess the equivalent GED. Those interested should be able to perform general maintenance, cleaning duties and be able to operate cleaning tools along with mowing and maintenance equipment.
Applicants must be able to lift, carry or move heavy objects. The ability to climb, stoop, bend or kneel and the ability to work outside during adverse weather conditions is necessary as well.
Applicants also must be able to work with chemicals and other hazardous items.
The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing and to follow instructions is also necessary.

Applicants must be able to successfully pass a background investigation, and are asked to submit a full work history, copies of high school transcript or GED certificate, and college transcripts, technical certificates and a DD214 (if applicable).
