(BLOOMINGTON) - A man was arrested after Bloomington Police were called to a home in the 1200 block of Madison Street Friday night after she walked to the back of her house after hearing a noise and saw a short man with blond hair wearing a gray hoodie and holding a piggy bank.
The man said "Hi, I'm Bryan" and then ran out the back door.
The woman told police $400 in cash and $50 in change and a necklace and bracelet had been stolen from the home.
Later that night, officers arrested a man wanted on an Owen County warrant.The man fit the description of the man who had broke into the home on Madison Street.
21-year-old Bryan Donovan of Ellettsville confessed to the crime. He was arrested on the warrant and then charged with burglary and taken to the Monroe County Jail.
