(BLOOMINGTON) - A public forum has been scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday to discuss non-lethal ways other communities have managed deer populations humanely.
The meeting, which will feature a presentation by two deer management experts from the Humane Society of the United States, will take place in the Hanson Room of the Bloomington/Monroe County Convention Center.
The visiting experts will be the humane society's Stephanie Boyles Griffin, senior director of innovative wildlife management and services, and Rick Naugle, immunocontraception program manager.
