(BEDFORD) - Bedford Police officers arrested 36-year-old Brandon Eagan of Mitchell this morning after he allegedly punched a woman twice in the head with his fist.
According to Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley, officers were called to a home in the 1000 block of 18th Street at 8:49 p.m. Monday after a report of a domestic fight. At that time the woman declined to give police a statement and Eagan left the home.
Then, at 9:10 p.m., the woman called police again reporting that Eagan had returned to the home and was threatening her.
When police arrived the woman alleged that Eagan had hit her twice in the head with his fist. Eagan had left the home before police arrived.
The woman, who complained of head pain, refused medical treatment.
At 1:05 a.m., police were checking on some vehicles parked behind the Limestone Business Center on 16th Street, and found Eagan in one of those vehicles.
Eagan was arrested and taken to jail on a charge of battery resulting in bodily injury.
