(BROWN CO.) - After taking a one year hiatus, the National Maple Syrup Festival will return next spring, but not to Jackson County.
The festival will move to Brown County in an effort to attract even more people and expand the growing interest in Hoosier maple syrup products, organizers said
First conducted in 2008, the festival brought thousands of visitors and tourists to Burton's Maplewood Farm in Medora; but after outgrowing that setting, organizers decided a change was in order.
