Truck Stolen In Mitchell, Recovered A Few Hours Later

(MITCHELL) - Mitchell police recovered a stolen 1991 Ford Ranger that was taken from the 400 block of West Warren Street.

Officers received a call at 8:20 a.m. Wednesday from John Cleek reporting his maroon and silver Ford was missing, along with a chrome tool box, a chainsaw, weed eater and several air-hand tools and a pair of boots at were all in the back of the truck.

At 11:15 a.m., Jack Scott reported a maroon and silver truck was parked in his yard at the alley in the 100 block of Frank Street.

Police said all of the items were still in the back of the pickup.
