(BEDFORD) - The South Central Association of the Visually Impaired will demonstrate the latest technology and devices to assist in daily tasks at a luncheon Oct. 11 at First Baptist Church, at 1515 20th St.
Members will show how the devices work and those without a visual impairment can try out the devices by using low-vision simulators or wearing a blindfold.
There will also be a silent auction.
Tickets cost $6 and are available at Inklings Bookstore in Bedford, Southern Indiana Center for Independent Living in Mitchell and Hoosier Door in Oolitic. For more information, call 278-3038.
