(WASHINGTON) - A Washington High School senior has been arrested and charged with rape and two counts of criminal deviate conduct.
18-year-old Francisco Alberto Rodriguez of Washington was arrested Thursday at the high school. He was taken to the Daviess County Security Center where he is being held on a $100,000 bond.
Rodriguez is also a member of the Washington High School soccer team.
According to a probable cause affidavit, a Department of Child Services caseworker told police that a 15-year-old girl was at a party at a home on North West 17th in May when she became intoxicated and had sexual relations with several individuals. The girl, is now pregnant and contracted a sexually-transmitted disease during the incident.
Washington Police investigated the complaint and discovered that Rodriguez had sent text messages stating he had sex with the girl.
During a police interview, Rodriguez admitted to having sex with the girl.
