(SCOTT CO.) - Scott County Sheriff Dan McClain says a tragic accident has claimed the life of a 4-year-old boy.
At 1:45 p.m. Saturday afternoon on Liberty Knobb Road the boy and his grandfather were out doing some yard work when the two came across a swarm of bees.
The grandfather set the boy down on the ground and went to use the bulldozer to take care of the bees.
The next thing he knew he had accidentally ran over the boy.
The boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other details are being released at this time.
