(MITCHELL) - A three-vehicle accident Thursday morning left three suffering minor injuries
The accident happened at 11:37 a.m. on State Road 37 south of Gun Club road.
According to Lawrence County Police report, 28-year-old Allison Robinson of Orleans, the driver of one of the three vehicles, complained of back pain.
Another one of the drivers, 55-year-old Ruth Wilson of Orleans, complained of neck pain at the scene. A passenger in her vehicle, 57-year-old Lloyd J. Wilson of Orleans, also complained of back pain.
According to police, Robinson was traveling south on State Road 37 in a 2014 Ford Focus and when she dropped some food she was eating. She then attempted to pull off the side of the road when the steering wheel slipped out of her hands and she struck a 1995 Buick Century driven by Ruth Wilson who was traveling south on Ind. 37 and had stopped to pull into a driveway. The impact caused Wilson's vehicle to spin left of the center line and strike a third vehicle, a 2007 Ford F-150 driven by 47-year-old Darren Kenney of Cannelburg, who was traveling north on Ind. 37.
