(BEDFORD) - 27-year-old Ross Kidd of Bedford was arrested Monday morning after he crashed his pickup truck into a building.
According to a Bedford Police report, Kidd was driving a 2007 Chevrolet pickup truck south on J Street near 14th Street when he veered off the west side of the street and stuck the Deckard Construction building at 1001 14th Street.
The truck continued east, crossed J Street and stopped on the sidewalk east of J Street.
Kidd, who police say was intoxicated, told police he didn't know what happened, "only he had hit something in the roadway."
Kidd suffered minor bleeding to his face and was treated at the scene by an ambulance crew. He was then arrested on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangerment, OWI with a blood alcohol content of .15 or greater and open container.
