(COLUMBUS) - A 21-year-old Columbus man was arrested on child pornography charges Wednesday night by Indiana State Police.
ISP Sgt. Noel Houze says that in September, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children notified the state police that they had an IP address and phone number in the Columbus area which had been used to search the Internet for videos and images of underage females involved in sex acts.
Police followed that IP address to the home of 21-year-old Justin Keith Chumbley, on 29th Street in Columbus. Police found two different electronic devices owned by Chumbley were used to view the images and videos.
Chumbley was arrested at his home on a warrant charging him with possession of child pornography, a Level 6 felony. He was taken to the Bartholomew County Jail where he is being held on a $10,000 bond.
