(GREENE CO.) - Investigators were back at the murder scene of Ruby Moon-Houldson Monday.
Greene County Prosecutor Jarrod Holstclaw says the murder is being actively pursued.
Moon-Houldson's body was discovered at 10:04 a.m. last Wednesday at her home south of Linton in the Goose Pond area.
An ambulance was dispatched to the home and soon afterward police were notified.
Police are releasing few details about their investigation.
Greene County Coroner Sherri Wilson confirmed the coroner's office was involved in the investigation and confirmed it was a homicide investigation. An autopsy was performed on Thursday by Pathologist Dr. Roland Kohr, but the results of that autopsy have not been released
47-year-old Moon-Houldson was an award-winning author and was well-known in the community. She was also an instructor at Lincoln Trail Community College.
