(UNDATED) - IU Health has signed a contract with the American Red Cross to become the sole supplier of blood products for IU Health Bloomington Hospital and 10 other hospitals in the IU Health system.
The other eight hospitals in the IU system were already using the Red Cross as their main source of blood products.
Director of Public Relations with IU Health says now all 19 hospitals are working with the American Red Cross, and they were chosen based on price and service.
