(MITCHELL) - A Mitchell man was arrested Sunday afternoon after a report of a domestic fight in the 300 block of Topaz Street.
Lawrence County police were called to the home at 3:57 p.m.
According to Sheriff Sam Craig, when officers arrived a woman told police that 45-year-old Ryan Nicholas had shoved her and her six-year-old son.
"Both of them fell to the floor and suffered minor injuries," Craig added. "Neither of them required medical attention."
Nicholas had left the home before police arrived. Bedford Police officers found Nicholas at Stonebridge Health Campus and he was arrested on charges of battery on a minor and domestic battery in the presence of a minor.
