(BEDFORD) - Lawrence County police are investigating several burglaries that were reported Wednesday night on U.S. 50 East.
Officers received the first call at 5:35 p.m. after a resident in the 2600 block of U.S. 50 reported a burglary.
The information report about that incident was not available at the time of this posting.
Officers then received a call at 7:20 p.m. reporting a burglary in the 8100 block of U.S. 50 East.
According to Sheriff Sam Craig, someone had forced their way into an out building on the property and stole an ATV, firearms and knives.
Officers are also investigating a burglary in Tunnelton. At 6:19 p.m. Wednesday a resident on Sunset Street reported that someone had broke into an out building and stole a chain saw.
The cases are under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call the Lawrence County Police Department.
