(BLOOMINGTON) - Board members of Seven Oaks Classical School say they will again attempt to open a charter school in the fall of 2016.
On Tuesday, the Indiana Charter School Board voted unanimously against authorizing Seven Oaks' application based on the proposed charter's need for leadership with financial and K-12 experience and more details on its educational instructional plan and the ability for Seven Oaks to recruit students.
Seven Oaks members hoped to open a K-8 school in Monroe County with almost 500 students in the fall of 2015.
