(SEYMOUR) - A Seymour woman faces up to 20 years in prison after being convicted of neglect.
The two-day trial in Jackson Circuit Court ended late Wednesday with a guilty verdict against 35-year-old Maria Martha Caceres.
The 12-member jury found her guilty of a Class B felony charge of neglect of a dependent less than 14 years of age resulting in serious bodily injury and a Class B misdemeanor charge of battery.
