(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington and Monroe County police arrested a man they called a possible suspect in Wednesday evening’s stabbing of two good samaritans who helped a woman as she was being choked and threatened with a knife in what police are calling a random attack.
The Herald Times reports that police spotted the man in the area of South Rogers Street and West Coolidge Drive just before 6 p.m. Thursday.
The man was taken into police custody on an arrest warrant unrelated to Wednesday evening's incident. He is being held without bond at the Monroe County Jail.
