(BEDFORD) - Three people suffered minor injuries after a rear-end collision Ind. 60 East.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, officers were called to the scene at 5:40 p.m. Thursday.
According to police 81-year-old Virginia McMinds of Bedford was traveling west on Ind. 60 east and had stopped to turn into her driveway, when her 2004 Lincoln Town Car was hit in the rear by a 2001 Toyota driven by 18-year-old Emily Condra of Paoli.
Condra told police she saw the vehicle in front of her stop and she applied her brakes, but they failed and caused her to collide with McMinds' vehicle.
Police say Condra's vehicle left 135 feet of skid marks before impact.
The collision caused McMinds' vehicle to leave the roadway and stop in her front yard.
McMinds complained of lower left leg pain and pain to her right elbow.
Condra complained of right arm pain.
McMinds' passenger, 19-year-old Brandon Knight of Orleans, complained of chest pain.
McMinds and Condra were taken by ambulance to St. Vincent Dunn Hospital for treatment. Knight refused treatment.
