(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman was injured after her vehicle collided with a deer Friday morning.
According to a Lawrence County police report, 53-year-old Lillian Lesley of Bedford complained of stomach pain and was taken by ambulance to the IU Health Hospital for treatment.
Lesley was traveling north in her 2005 Kia Optima on Ind. 446 near Meadows Church Road at 6:08 a.m. when a deer ran into her path of her vehicle. The deer struck the driver's side fender, rolled and struck the windshield and driver's side window.
