(SALEM) - Close to 100 jobs are coming to Salem within the next two years thanks to the Kimball office expanding.
Salem Mayor David Bower says Kimbell is closing a plant in Idaho and making a $9 million investment in the Salem plant to accommodate new work.
Bower says some of the Idaho management team will be moving to Salem as a result of the expansion. New jobs will be offered in the manufacturing of metal components for office chairs.
The transition will take about two years to complete. More information will be released in the future during a press conference.
