(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was arrested early Thursday morning after he violated a no trespass order and broke the window out of a home in the 90 block of Middle Avenue.
Officers were called to the home at 11:10 p.m. Thursday and found 21-year-old Shane VanMeter had broken out a window and attempted to kick in the front door of the home.
The resident had a no trespass order on file against VanMeter.
When police located VanMeter, who was attempting to hide, they found he had numerous cuts and blood on his hands.
He also had a small mound of marijuana on him.
Sheriff Sam Craig says VanMeter did not cooperate with officers and attempted to flee and was extremely loud.
VanMeter was taken to a local hospital for treatments of the cuts and then taken to jail on charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest by force, possession of marijuana and trespassing.
