According to a Lawrence County Police report, 48-year-old Kevin Banks of Bedford was traveling west on Tripleton Pike Road near John Keer Lane when he lost control of his 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer, left the roadway and collided with a tree.
Police say when they arrived on the scene, Banks had walked to a near-by home to call police. Officers found long-neck Budweiser beer bottles in the vehicle and one had spilled on the floorboard.
