(BLOOMINGTON) - A Bloomington man was arrested Tuesday night after Bloomington Police received a call to investigate an incident involving a Bloomington man and a 15-year-old female.
When the parents arrived at the home they checked on a girl in her bedroom and discovered an unknown male in bed with the teen. Both were not fully clothed. The parents kept the male from leaving until Indiana State Police troopers arrived.
28-year-old Joshua Wright of Bloomington had entered the home through a window of the girl's bedroom after the two had met on Facebook the night before and allegedly had sexual intercourse with the girl before her parent's discovered him in the girl's room.
Wright was arrested on charges of two counts of sexual misconduct with a minor, Level 4 felonies, and was taken to jail.
If convicted, a Level 4 felony in Indiana carries a penalty of between two and twelve years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.
