Boys & Girls Club Of Lawrence County Appreciation Dinner & Auction

(BEDFORD) - The Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County appreciation dinner and auction is scheduled for Nov. 14 in Kari’s Gym.

The club's leadership will recognize four community partners that have contributed to a successful 2014 -- the Bedford Area Lions Club, Lowe's Home Improvement, Weaver's Wrecker Service and Duke Energy.

More than 100 items, including several entertainment and trip packages, have been donated for the live and silent auctions.

Items up for bid will include:

A 1973 Porsche 914, donated by Nancey and Steve Maegerlein.
A one-week stay in a patio villa in The Villages of Florida, donated by Carl and Cathie Short.
Four tickets to the Polar Express and a night stay at Comfort Suites of French Lick, donated by Mike and Debbie Hicks.
Comfort Suites of French Lick whirlpool suite and golf package for two at French Lick, donated by Mike and Debbie Hicks.
A Night at The Conrad, dinner for two at St. Elmo's, two Indianapolis Colts tickets, donated by Dana and Jim Sowders, Laura Short
Gift certificate for bilateral Lasik surgery, donated by Melissa Buehl.
Bedford Revitalization Historical Replicas (all of the selections), donated by the Club.
