Department Of Revenue Relocates Bloomington Office

(BLOOMINGTON) - The Indiana Department of Revenue’s Bloomington district office will relocate on Dec. 1 to 414 Landmark Ave. Bloomington, IN 47403. The current office is at 410 Landmark Ave. Bloomington, IN 47403.

The new location, located next door to the current office, makes more efficient use of space.

From 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. that day taxpayer services will be limited at both locations. Assistance requiring computer, kiosk or telephone support will be unavailable until the move is complete. However, the office will remain open and employees will continue to assist taxpayers.

The new office location will offer the full ranges of taxpayer services again beginning Dec. 2, 2014.

The full range of district office services include:

Answering individual and/or business tax questions
Submitting completed state tax return(s) (paper filings only)
Helping correct or adjust processed tax returns
Reviewing and explaining tax billing(s)
Taking your payments (cash, checks, money orders, cashier's checks, Visa, MasterCard or Discover)
Helping set up payment arrangements
Providing state tax forms (based on availability)
Answering questions about the collection process (tax warrants with the sheriff and/or collection agency, bank levies, liens on credit reports, etc.)
Assisting with license protests
