(DAVIESS CO.) - Details have been released concerning a Sunday night accident on I-69 in Daviess County.
It happened, just after 11 p.m. Sunday in Elmore Township.
According to police, 20-year-old Kaylen Jones of Indianapolis was driving northbound on I-69 and served to miss a deer.
The car went off the road into a ditch and up an embankment. It then flipped several times before landing on its top. The vehicle then caught fire, but Jones and her two passengers, 18-year-old Ciara Brown and 19-year-old Gabrielle Wells, were able to escape.
Jones was taken to Bloomington Hospital for treatment of injuries. Brown and Wells, who suffered numerous injuries, were flown by Air Evac helicopter to Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis for treatment.
