(BLOOMINGTON) - Indiana University basketball player Devin Davis is due to be released from the hospital and will continue his rehabilitation closer to home in Indianapolis.
Davis was injured last weekend when teammate Emmitt Holt hit him with a car. Police say Davis jumped in front of the car and both players had been drinking.
Davis suffered a head injury and according to family members Davis is advancing rapidly in his rehabilitation.
Holt, who had a blood alcohol content of .025 was cited for illegal consumption and operating a vehicle with a BAC above 0.02., was suspended from IU basketball for four games.
