(BEDFORD) - Bedford police arrested several people this weekend after they stole from WalMart.
According to Assistant Chief Joe DeWeese says the first arrests were on Saturday around 5:40 p.m.
Police were called to the store after three woman used the self-checkout service, but only scanned part of their items.
"All three were caught by store security not scanning items," DeWeese says. "They would scan some but not others before placing the items in bags."
Officers arrested 29-year old Kelly Lozada, 19-year-old Andrea Arana and 46-year-old Lisa Daminai- Arana, all of Mitchell, on charges of theft.
Officers were then called to the store again and arrested 34-year-old Sarah Parks, of Bedford.
"Police were called after store security saw her stealing items," DeWeese added. "Officers approached Ms. Parks in the store and asked her about the stolen items and that is when she became loud and was yelling."
Officers asked Parks numerous times to stop and she refused.
Parks was arrested on charges of theft and disorderly conduct.
