(PAOLI) - A free Thanksgiving meal will be served Thursday at the Orange County Community Center, 1075 N. Sandy Hook Road.
Dinner will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for dine-in and carry-out service.
Anyone is welcome to attend. Deliveries will be made to those who are homebound.
To request meals or make reservations, call Sarann Weeks at (812) 723-3294. Reservations should be made by Tuesday.
The group plans to serve at least 300 people.
The annual tradition began with the Paoli Friends Meeting congregation. The church's members continue to be involved with the effort, but many others from the community also assist. The dinner is in honor of Terry Whiteman, a Paoli man who died earlier this year.
Whiteman and his wife, Sarah, had donated food for the meals.
