(BROWN CO.) - The Brown County Commissioners appointed a new highway superintendent and voted to give part of timber revenue to the EMT Association and six volunteer fire departments.
Michael Magner, a long-time Brown County resident with a background in engineering, will head the highway department.
The commissioners also approved a spilt of the federal timber revenue to be distributed. The association and each of the fire departments will received $3,948.72. Brown County received $55,282.03 in timber revenue.
