(GREENE CO.) - A two-vehicle accident sent one driver to the Greene County General Hospital Tuesday morning.
The crash occurred just before 7:30 a.m. on State Road 54, west of County Road 700 West.
According to Indiana State Police report, Joshua Jones of Lyons was stopped in a line of traffic on State Rd. 54 while waiting for an eastbound school bus to load passengers. 17-year-old Jonathan R. Koenig of Sandborn was traveling in the same direction and could not stop his car in time to avoid rear-ending Jones.
Jones' vehicle was forced off the north side of the highway, and he was taken to the hospital after complaining of back pain. Koenig was not injured during the incident.
