Stalking Investigation Of Monroe Co. Family Leads To Felony Arrests

(BLOOMINGTON) - A lengthy investigation by the Indiana State Police at the Bloomington Post lead to the arrest of two Monroe County men on several felony charges.

19-year-old Isaiah Lee Jackson of Stinesville was arrested on felony charges of stalking, theft, and misdemeanor charges of intimidation, criminal mischief and criminal trespass

According to police, Jackson allegedly stalked a Monroe County family, while depriving them of and destroying their personal property. He was charged with intimidation after he allegedly placed dead animals (with gunshot wounds and severed extremities) in the family's driveway, with the intent to place the family in fear of retaliation for a prior lawful act.

18-year-old Derek Matthew Richardson of Ellettsville was arrested on felony charges of stalking and theft and misdemeanor charges of mischief and criminal trespass.

Richardson also allegedly stalked the same Monroe County family while depriving them of and destroying their personal property. he is also accused of intentionally interfering with the possession or use of their property.

Troopers assisting in the investigation included Trooper Seth Parker, Trooper Tyler Dawley, S/Trooper Mike Clephane and M/Trooper Mark Clephane.
