(WORTHINGTON) - A domestic fight that turned physical landed a Worthington couple in jail.
Officers were called to the couple's home Sunday night.
Charles Kent called police to report a man was on his way to the couple's home armed with a gun and he was afraid he was going to harm him.
According to police, Desiree Keller had destroyed some of Kent's property and broke the glass in a door and had punched Kent in eye.
Kent allegedly retaliated by placing his hands around Keller's throat and choking her.
At some point during the fight Keller had called a family member to come and pick her up, but Kent told police that the family member was actually bringing a firearm to shoot him. The family member, who came to the home, was searched, but police found no weapon.
Charles Kent was arrested on charges of strangulation and battery. Keller was arrested on charges of battery and criminal mischief.
