(BLOOMINGTON) - A Bloomington man is in custody after police say he held a woman against her will and sexually assaulted her over several days.
32-year-old Douglas Ryan Sparks is being held on preliminary charges of rape, criminal confinement, battery with bodily harm and theft, Bloomington police said.
Sparks is a former Ultimate Fighter nicknamed "Ants in the Pants," according to Yahoo Sports. He proclaimed to be a genius and tried out for the UFC reality show "The Ultimate Fighter."
Last August, Sparks was interviewed by the IndyStar and told a reporter he always wanted to fight. "I was born with an innate drive for violence," Sparks responded.
He was booked into the Monroe County Jail last Saturday and is being held on a $250,000 bond.
