(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Police are investigating a robber in the 1100 block of South Clarizz Boulevard that happened Saturday night.
Officers were called to the residence at 11:38 p.m.
When police arrived, a man told officers that he heard a knock on his door and was expecting it to be a friend. But when he answered the door, two black males, wearing black hooded jackets and face masks, were armed with semi-automatic handguns.
Police say the men demanded money and started taking items from the home.
The victim told police that he offered the men cash so they wouldn't steal his items. The men agreed and took the cash and fled on foot.
Police called in a K-9 unit to track the men, but they could not be located.
Anyone with information about the robbery are asked to call the Bloomington Police Department.
