(BLOOMINGTON) - On Tuesday, a 17-year-old male was attacked and beaten up at a friend’s apartment on East Second Street in Bloomington.
The teen told Bloomington police that two men, one white and one black, wearing black ski masks broke through the door and attacked him at College Mall Apartments.
The teen told police the black man put him in a choke hold, while the white male punched him in the face.
The men demanded money and the teen's cell phone and then left when the friend, who was in a back room, began screaming at the men.
The teen; who suffered facial bruising, including his eye was swollen shut; returned home to get his legal guardian and then went to IU Health Bloomington Hospital for treatment.
The investigation is 
ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call the Bloomington Police Department.
