(MITCHELL) - A fire destroyed a home at Mystic Lake this morning.
According to Marion Township Volunteer Fire Department Chief Jason Zeeks, the fire was called in at 4:43 a.m.
When firefighters arrived the one-story home of John Ozias, at 36 Mystic Lake Rd., was fully engulfed in flames.
Guthrie and Orange County Rural District II assisted extinguishing the blaze. TOPES was also on the scene.
"There wasn't much we could do but contain the blaze," Zeeks says. "The home was destroyed. It was an accidental fire, the cause is still under investigation."
