(SHELBY CO.) - A Freetown driver died in a crash Monday on Interstate 65, just north of the Bartholomew County line.
The Shelby County Sheriff's Department says that 37-year-old Christopher Eason died in the one-vehicle crash, which occurred near the 82 mile marker.
Officials say Eason's pickup truck was northbound on the interstate when it left the roadway. The truck reportedly flipped several times, ejecting all three occupants, before coming to rest in a creek.
Two children, 12-year-old Kenneth Eason and 10-year-old Timothy Eason, also of Freetown, are listed in serious condition at Indianapolis hospitals.
