(GREENE CO.) - A crash involving a diesel fuel truck resulted in a spill of approximately 200 gallons of diesel fuel late Tuesday morning on State Road 43 approximately one-quarter mile north of Legion Road in eastern Greene County.
According to Greene County Sheriff deputies, the diesel fuel was reportedly threatening a nearby creek but officials were able to contain the spill to the highway.
The highway was closed for several hours at the crash scene to allow a wrecker to remove the fuel truck and clean up the spill. The road was reopened at 3 p.m.
