(BLOOMFIELD) - Greene County Commissioner Nathan Abrams presented Council President Ed Cullison with a parting gift during Cullison’s last meeting with the council.
Abrams said he wanted to do something to reflect the amount of "professionalism and class that Cullison shown in his more than 12 years with the council.
After a minute of laughter, Cullison explained to the rest of the council that it contained a gift certificate to Ken's Barber Shop.
Cullison thanked all the present and past employees of the courthouse and all of the council members he has worked with for the last 12 years for the joy and privilege of working with them.
Cullion says his goal was to get Greene County running in efficiently in the black and with the help of county employees the county is in pretty sound financial shape. He says that was accomplished.
The council also bid farewell to Council Member Gene Hall, who wished the rest of the council the best of luck in moving forward.
