(MITCHELL) - Visitors are invited to stroll through the Pioneer Village as heritage interpreters craft holiday decorations, bake cookies and prepare to celebrate a late-1800s Christmas.
The Village is open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday.
Cookies and wassail will be served in the Village Tavern, where Father Christmas will be taking holiday wishes. He will also distribute small gifts and candy canes.
Music: Bedford Dulcimer Society both days in the summer kitchen of the Weaver's Cabin.
On Friday, Wildflower and Weeds will play holiday music in the Grist Mill.
Park admission applies for the weekend.
