Meth Bust In Salem Nets Five Arrests

(SALEM) - The Washington County Drug Team arrested five people Tuesday night on several felony meth charges.
According to police, officers went to the home of Christopher Campbell at 2233 North Rush Creek Road at 11:48 p.m.
Armed with a search warrant, officers found a meth lab inside the home and other items associated with making the drug.
The Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Unit was called to assist in the collection and clean-up of the lab.
Officers arrested:
Five people were located in the residence and arrested and incarcerated at the Washington County Detention Center:
- Jared A. Jones, 36, of 308 West Main St., Scottsville, KY. He was charged with dealing in methamphetamine, a level 3 felony; aiding, inducing or causing an offense (manufacturing meth), a level 3 felony; Conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, a level 3 felony; possession of methamphetamine, a level 5 felony; possession of chemical reagents or precursors, a level 6 felony.
- Mark D. McCoskey, 40, 105 Teresa St., Salem, was charged with dealing in methamphetamine, a level 4 felony; aiding, inducing or causing an offense (manufacturing meth), a level 4 felony; Conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, a level 4 felony; possession of methamphetamine, a level 6 felony; possession of a legend drug, a level 6 felony; possession of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor.
- Mary Braden, 36, 105 Teresa St., Salem is charged with dealing in methamphetamine, a level 4 felony; aiding, inducing or causing an offense (manufacturing methamphetamine), a level 4 felony; Conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, a level 4 felony; possession of methamphetamine, a level 6 felony; possession of chemical reagents or precursors, a level 6 felony.
- Christopher Campbell, 49, of 2233 North Rush Creek Rd, Salem was charged with Dealing in methamphetamine, a level 4 felony; aiding, inducing or causing an offense (manufacturing methamphetamine), a level 4 felony; Conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, a level 4 felony; possession of methamphetamine, a level 6 felony; possession of chemical reagents or precursors, a level 6 felony.
- Candace Burden, 36, 308 West Main St, Scottsville, Ky., was charged with Dealing in methamphetamine, a level 4 felony; aiding, inducing or causing an offense (manufacturing methamphetamine), a level 4 felony; Conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, a level 4 felony; possession of methamphetamine, a level 6 felony; possession of chemical reagents or precursors, a level 6 felony.
Jones' charges were more severe than the others because he had a prior record.
