(GREENE CO.) - A Midland man was arrested after he admitted to drinking and driving.
According to police 27-year-old Brooks Mattox, had a blood-alcohol content of .16 - two times the legal limit.
According to a Greene County Police report, officers received a call at 12:39 a.m. Wednesday about a possible rollover crash in the area of Jasonville's South Meridian and Hanna streets.
Police say Mattox was traveling southbound on South Meridian Road when his 1998 GMC left the roadway and struck a tree.
Mattox told police he crashed because he was voice texting while driving and admitted he had been drinking.
Mattox who was not wearing a seat belt, was not injured.
